Tokyo-style dog grooming, now in Berlin.
emDOG is Erina's studio. She grooms in the Asia Fusion style: round heads, soft silhouettes and every hair placed with scissors. She currently welcomes her guests at her own table at GroomRoom Berlin in Charlottenburg.

Round, soft and considered down to the last hair.
The style comes from the salons of Tokyo and Seoul. Instead of clippers, Erina works almost entirely with scissors, so the head stays round and the coat keeps its natural fullness.
Teddy head and full cheeks
The shape comes from many small cuts. Erina cuts against the grain, combs out and cuts again until the silhouette looks drawn.
Scissors instead of clippers
In the Asia Fusion style, clippers only touch the paws and belly. Everything you see is cut with scissors, so the coat stays soft and grows back evenly.
Calm at the table
Having lived with a rescue dog herself, Erina is especially comfortable with nervous or more challenging dogs: no rush, with breaks, and as long as your dog needs.
Care at home
At the end, Erina shows you how to keep the cut in shape with comb and brush until the next appointment.

Grooming with care and a genuine love for dogs.
I have loved dogs since I was a child. My passion for grooming began when I finally got my own dog and wanted to make them look and feel their best.
I graduated from a professional dog grooming school in 2015 and have been grooming for 11 years. I have gained grooming experience in Japan, London, Ireland, and Germany.
Having also lived with a rescue dog, I am particularly comfortable working with nervous or more challenging dogs. I always take the time to understand each dog’s individual personality and make sure they feel as comfortable and safe as possible.
For me, grooming is not just about making dogs look beautiful, but also about making the experience a positive one for them.
